Draw That Jazz

Artists of all levels, grab your sketchbooks and pencils or the medium of your choice and join us for an immersive drawing experience at La Grua Center! In this interactive workshop, local artist and VMA memberTom Frohnapfel will provide a brief overview on drawing live, moving subjects – in this case, a live jazz band! Once the music begins, you will be free to put what you’ve learned to practice as The Adam Anderson Jazz Trio performs a mix of standards and tunes from the Great American Songbook. Enjoy a casual evening of art making while you create, improvise, and listen to some great music in a cozy and comfortable environment. Includes a brief overview of techniques and an approximately 1 hour concert/drawing session. Space is limited!
